About this Seminar

Dr. Caldwell’s research is focused on integrating the complex set of factors that influence obesity risk and response to behavioral obesity treatment across the lifespan. To that end, she will use evolutionarily informed hypotheses to understand the connections between metabolism, hormones, and behaviors that influence weight management. The overarching goal of this program of research is to develop and test more targeted and effective strategies to prevent weight gain and improve behavioral weight loss interventions.
