Arriving by Car

The best address for GPS directions is 3625 Potomac Ave. Alexandria, VA 22305.

There are two options for parking: the surface lot or the garage. Surface parking is denoted by the red boxes in the image below, while the garage entry is indicated by the orange arrow. To access the garage, vehicles must first drive through the smaller surface lot (red box on the left) before reaching the entrance.

Parking

Surface Parking Lot

The surface lot is accessible via the ParkMobile app. 

Garage

The garage uses the parking stub system.

  • Upon entry, you will receive a parking stub in order to pay for your garage parking.
  • When exiting you have two options to pay for parking:
    • Pay at the ticket machines located in the P1 and P2 elevator bays.
    • Pay as you exit by inserting the ticket stub into the exit gate and paying by card.

Pricing

For both lots:

  • $4 per hour
  • $20 max per day
  •  No overnight parking allowed. Must be out by 10 p.m. or car will not be accessible until 6 a.m. the following day.
  • Please avoid parking in the Target or nearby shopping center lots due to strict towing policies.

Metro

Potomac Yard-VT station is served by both Yellow and Blue line trains. Go up the escalators to the pedestrian bridge, cross over the tracks, and then turn right towards the North Pavilion pedestrian entrance. Follow the walkway along University Drive to Academic Building One.
