Take a peek inside the new VTC Biomedical Research Addition

The state-of-the-art 149,000-square-foot facility will be home to more than 20 additional teams of Virginia Tech biomedical researchers specializing in cardiovascular research, obesity and metabolism, body-device interfaces, cancer, and more. Slated for a grand opening in fall 2020, the building also features a green roof, classrooms, wet and dry labs, offices, and a LINAC particle accelerator to help pets with cancer. Stay tuned for more updates as construction nears completion this spring!
