Gabriela Carrillo

Gabriela Carrillo is a graduate student in Virginia Tech’s Translational Biology, Medicine, and Health program and conducts research in the laboratory of Dr. Michael Fox. Previously trained as an architect before pursuing a career in science, Carrillo is studying how long-term Toxoplasma gondii parasite infections alter brain circuits.
