Hassan Farah

Hassan Farah collaborates with the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute's Neuromotor Research Clinic and the Kevin P. Granata Biomechanics Lab in Blacksburg. His research interest lies where the worlds of pediatric therapy and biomechanical engineering collide. Under direction from his co-advisors, Dr. Stephanie DeLuca and Dr. Robin Queen, he aims to explore how children with Cerebral Palsy control balance, initiate gait, and clear obstacles using 3D motion capture & force plate technology.

He earned a B.S. in Health Sciences from the University of Arizona and serves as Hassan also serves as the Executive Chair of the Roanoke Graduate Student Association with the goal of developing new student services for all Roanoke based students in the Health Sciences & Technology campus.
