VITAL — Generalized Anxiety Disorder
VITAL — Generalized Anxiety Disorder Study
The Legon Lab at the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at VTC is conducting a study on participants with symptoms of anxiety in Roanoke, VA. This is a multi-session study involving brain imaging, questionnaires, and testing consisting of an anxiety-inducing task and heating sensations on the skin.
Who is eligible?
- Adults aged 18-65
- Symptoms of anxiety
- Meet all MRI and CT safety qualifications
- Not pregnant
- No history of seizure
How much time will it take?
The study is 9 study visits. Each session will take between 2 to 4 hours for a total of about 27 hours. Additional remote visits may be included.
How will I be compensated?
Participants will be compensated approximately $20/hour of participation.
