Gigi El-Bayoumi, M.D.

Dr. Jehan (Gigi) El-Bayoumi was born in Florida and raised in East Lansing, Michigan. She attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor for both undergraduate and medical school. After completion of her residency and chief residency in internal medicine at George Washington University School of Medicine, she was appointed faculty member in the Division of General Internal Medicine.
Gigi has dedicated her career to medical education and to providing holistic and compassionate care. She has been duly recognized with numerous local and national awards, as well as inclusion in international fora. In 2013, she helped establish the Rodham Institute which is dedicated to improving health equity in Washington, D.C.
