James Wilding

Jim Wilding is President and co-Founder of Confluence Financial Partners, a wealth management firm headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pa. Confluence aims to set a new standard of excellence in the financial services industry for both its clients and associates. Currently serving over 2,400 families in 40 states, Confluence is one of Pittsburgh’s fastest growing companies.

Prior to starting Confluence, Wilding was a financial advisor for 20 years at Wells Fargo Advisors and its predecessor companies, helping a wide range of clients define and pursue their financial goals. Jim derives tremendous satisfaction from having a positive impact on people’s lives and has worked with many clients for over 20 years.

Jim serves his community on the Board of Auberle, a faith-based, Catholic agency that builds strong individuals, families and communities. He and his wife, Carla, have been actively involved in many charitable organizations in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Jim is also the Alumni Association President for the Virginia Tech chapter of Beta Theta Pi. Jim, Carla and three of their seven children are Virginia Tech graduates.
