Jessica Urbanczyk

Jessica graduated with her Bachelor of Science from Boston College and is currently pursuing her medical degree at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. During her gap years, she was a research technician at Northwestern University investigating how continuous recruitment of neutrophils impedes wound healing during inflammatory bowel disease. She is excited to bring her background in immunology and basic research to Dr. Weston’s laboratory to investigate novel therapeutic agents to target seizure incidence.
