Poojaa is a second year Honors student at Virginia Tech majoring in Clinical Neuroscience. She is also currently an undergraduate research assistant at the ​​Cognition, Affect, and Psychophysiological (C.A.P.) Lab at Virginia Tech. In the Weston Lab, she assists with data collection and analysis for studying epilepsy-causing gene variants. More specifically, she is assessing the effects of Dnm1 variants on PV and SST cortical interneuron development.
