How can advances in AI help hospital emergency departments ensure they’re appropriately staffed during patient surges to decrease problems from emergency department crowding? That’s the challenge that Patrick Butler, a senior research associate at the Sanghani Center for AI and Data Analytics, worked with Children’s National Hospital to tackle.
