About this Seminar
Machine learning and neural network approaches to complex problems have now invaded all parts of neuroscience and have long been part of an effort to understand the mind-brain connection. These efforts have now reached a stage where artificial systems best human performance and they even serve as a basis for understanding healthy and diseased mental function. This talk will highlight some recent successes of machine learning methods and point the way to practical advances in how we treat disorders of the mind and brain.
