About this Seminar
Even as the immediate crisis of the COVID-19 pandemic fades from public consciousness, its enduring consequences remain. Over 65 million individuals globally grapple with "long COVID," the term that encapsulates the lingering health effects of the virus. Long COVID can affect nearly every organ system and impact people across the lifespan and across demographic and racial groups. Beyond the personal health impacts, long COVID strains health systems, poses economic challenges, and threatens societal well-being. These far- and wide-reaching effects of long COVID will likely reverberate for decades to come. This presentation will unpack the mysteries surrounding long COVID and its profound impact.
