Chronic Pain Study

A multi-visit study investigating the effects of noninvasive brain stimulation on chronic pain. This study is a collaboration between Carilion Clinic and Virginia Tech.

Who is eligible?

• Adults aged 18-65
• Diagnosis of Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) or Fibromyalgia (FM)
• Meet all MRI and CT safety qualifications
• Not Pregnant
• No history of seizure

How much time will it take?

The study is 4 study visits, each session will take between 1 to 3 hours for a total of about 9 hours.

How will I be compensated?

Participants will be compensated between $180 and $200.
