It's National Postdoc Appreciation Week.

Sept. 16-20 marks the 15th annual National Postdoc Appreciation Week as designated by the National Postdoc Association.
Nearly two dozen postdoctoral associates work to advance improvements to human health in Fralin Biomedical Research Institute labs as they strive toward their own career goals.
"The postdocs are part of the very lifeblood of the biomedical research enterprise," said Michael Friedlander, executive director of the research institute and Virginia Tech's vice president for Health Sciences and Technology, "and we are extremely fortunate to have such an outstanding cadre of postdocs as part of the FBRI team!"
