Celebrate Women’s Month on the Roanoke Health Sciences and Technology campus throughout March with a series of events and initiatives dedicated to recognizing and empowering women. Join us in honoring the achievements and contributions of women across the Roanoke Campus through a range of activities:

Month-long Celebrations

  • Weekly Displays: Let’s shine a spotlight on the outstanding women on our campus. Submit brief recognitions (50 words or less) to showcase a friend's or colleague's impactful contributions on display monitors around the campus. Share submissions by Feb. 29. Women across the Roanoke Campus will be recognized on display monitors.
  • Book Recommendations: Discover inspiring reads from strong women in our community at the Roanoke Public Libraries on their display screens and shared on social media.

March 8: International Women’s Day

  • Wear Purple: Show your support by wearing purple on International Women’s Day. Stop by a designated location (R1 Suite 208 or R2 M108) to pick up an exclusive button created by Roanoke VT Women Connect, symbolizing solidarity and celebration.
