Archived Seminar: Cells That Tile Your Brain: Astrocyte Contributions to Neural Circuits and Disease

Date: Dec. 11, 2020
Time: 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

About This Seminar

Astrocytes tile the central nervous system, but their functions in neural microcircuits in vivo and their roles in mammalian behavior and disease are incompletely defined. Dr. Khakh will report experiments from brain slices and in vivo on the functional roles of astrocytes within intact adult neural circuits in relation to psychiatric phenotypes and neurological disease.
