Archived Seminar: Unlocking the Neurodevelopmental Effects of Cannabis and Relevance to Psychiatric Risk
Date: Oct. 23, 2020
Time: 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Abstract
The sociopolitical landscape has dramatically changed regarding the medical and recreational use of cannabis. This talk will provide insights about advances made about the molecular underpinnings of developmental cannabis/THC exposure that maintains a long-term impact on adult behavior. The research describes translational and multidisciplinary scientific approaches ranging from molecular and epigenetic studies in animal models to investigations in human subjects.
