About this Seminar

This presentation will describe a series of experiments conducted at the Johns Hopkins Behavioral Pharmacology Research Unit. Healthy adult volunteers were administered acute doses of a variety cannabis products that systematically differed with respect to dose, route of administration, formulation, and chemical composition. Results highlight significant differences with respect to abuse liability, impairment of functioning, and safety across the spectrum of retail cannabis products that exist in the U.S. today. Implications for changes in regulatory control are discussed within the context of proposed changes in federal law.
